What was I thinking?

Looking for a signed Howe rookie card, I bid on this lot and the auction failed to meet the reserve. The seller contacted me and offered the Howe and then the three as a package, but upon closer inspection, there are just too many red flags for me (I thanking my stars the reserve was high):

Pro card in lot
Sell off of ebay (I'm pretty sure that's where it was going)
Shill
Only cards sold in past 3 years were 52 Mantle and some T206 / 33G - all seemed to go low
Poor English
no back scan (might indicate reprint)
purportedly the seller turned down more than the group was offered to me

The cert checks out, but what do y'all think? Could it be good? After writing this post, I'm embarrassed I bid on the listing image

Thanks.

The seller has feedback for an $810 and $1275 item that they sold that came from buyers who have bought cards from regular eBay card sellers....first impression is a legit auction.
  • I seen this auction but somebody hit the buy it now for 14,000. Obviously did not pay. Not sure what the reserve is but 14,000 for all the cards is way way to high.
