My pack busting and box break videos

Just wanted to start a thread to share and discuss my pack and box breaks that I put up on Youtube. Please let me know any thoughts or comments you guys may have.

First up is two packs of 77 Topps Baseball Cloth Stickers. I enjoyed opening them but wont get anymore probably due to one of the two stickers having bad gum stains. Here is a link to the first video

Nice video! Two cards per pack (and one with a stain) just ain't right.

Wow those are some great centered cards! I'd like to see a scan of the Reggie and Palmer. How bar are the stains, do you think they can be cleaned up? I've opened a few of these packs before and centered cards can be hard to come by. Even the puzzle cards are submittable if they're centered well enough, but yours didn't appear centered too well. Anyway, nice results!

The Palmer and the Pagan are centered well and I think I will submit them to PSA next time I send something. The Jackson was centered well but the gum stain looks pretty bad. I would have rather had the Jackson without a stain over any of the other cards. The puzzle cards were pretty off center on the back. Thanks for watching. I may upload another video today as well.

Nice work! Enjoyed the narration, too! The Palmer looks really sharp! I saw a couple 79 wax in the background there...are you going to rip those?>

Looking forward to seeing your vidoes, but I'll have to wait until I get home as no youtube available at work.

I hope you didn't go for BBG's creepy look with blue gloves or something. image

Ben cool videos. The Stargell looks like a solid 8 which should fetch you at least $45-50

I hope so I plan on submitting it next time I send some in to PSA.

The Stargell is tough in high grade. The last 1979 PSA 8 Stargell on ebay sold for $161. That's 20x the price of a 1978 PSA 8 Stargell.

    LOL! I have a look!

As for the Stargell ... that card has seriously gotten out of control. Yes there are no 10s ... but there are 42 8s! ... 5 8.5s and 19 9s. I think everyone needs to calm down and let this card sell at a normal price ... after Ben sells for a crazy amount of course image

Ben, great videos ... love seeing you go through those '79s and experience the OC world of pain that I am currently living in. >>

You know what I may not sell if it comes back an 8. I really like the card. Now a 9 may be another story. BBG I hope we see some more videos from you as well.

Also should I be wearing some gloves when I open these older packs? I could wear some of the disposible rubber gloves I guess. Would really like to hear some thoughts on that.

Just got another video up. This time it is 1983 Topps again but its 3 of the "Michigan" packs. I will say that these packs are nice. It may have just been these packs but the cards seemed nice. Plus the gum was stuck to the scratch off game card instead of one of the actual baseball cards so that was a plus as well. Are these packs much rarer than regular wax? Also has anyone had much luck with them? Thanks for the comments guys and here is the video

<< <i>Yeah Ben that Stargell sure looked sweet ... I've busted oodles of packs and have never seen one that nicely centered.

I'll do more videos soon, it's fun! The gloves are just for fun ... when I rip packs I never wear them, but I make sure to always handle the cards by the edges as to not leave finger prints. Also, I always put the cards directly in Card Saver 1 holders as soon as they are ripped to insure the least possibility of damage. I also always rip the rack packs over a soft surface, like a towel so if one was to fall the corners would hopefully be saved. >>

Thanks for the tips. Let us know when you upload another video. I should have a wax box rip up soon for my next video.
