Coin website design and creation needed

astroratastrorat Posts: 9,221 ✭✭✭✭✭
I am putting together an informational website on some specialized areas of collecting and I was wondering if there are any creative types on the Forum who can help design and create a simple site for coin information. Please PM me if you are interested and send some links if you have created such sites in the past. Thanks.

What's up with 3-4 different posts requesting coin website creation these last few days? Just curious.

    PM sent.
  • I recommend anyone building an information site to check out Wordpress.org. Wordpress is an open source platform which makes creating a blog/information site really easy (and cheap!) to set up.

I don't think i'm 100% correct in saying it could be a case of who needs ebay when a website addy in the sigline + BST gets the job done for less outlay in the long run...everyone has thier own reason, that's mine.

I agree it's a smart thing to do, but it seems like 3-4 different posters have been asking for it lately.

I noticed it too , theres even a member willing to pay for services in creating one in the BST. Maybe folks really have just had enough with ebay.It might always be worthwhile for some things but coins.. oh and you know there's no ebay bucks for bullion anymore , little things like that add up to making buying a domain and building a page seem reasonable.
  • They way I read the OP, poster was looking to create an informational site, not an e-commerce site. Hence my recommendation for wordpress. For selling coins, Collectors Corner is an excellent venue to be considered as well.
