The handheld cards have too much gloss IMO.
Also - he "JUST" happened to have the Cobb in the 'odd lot' that were found in the desk.
They're most likely reprints IMO.
edit: a PSA 3 will set ya back 17K - so...

<< <i>I just finished watching the last 10 minutes of 'The Craigs List Murderer' on cable. I would be very hesitant to meet this person. Is it possible to mail him the $500 instead of meeting in person? >>
Considering he's posted this add in almost every major metropolitan area I would venture to guess he expects you to mail him the cash. You likely wouldn't even receive the fakes. You should email him and tell him you want them then send him monopoly money in a PWE.

<< <i>The guy is a total fraud, as I spent the last 2 days dealing with him on the phone. He tells the story how he is visiting relatives in Huntington, WV and was moving an old desk for his aunt who had moved there from Buffalo, NY. He plays stupid about having any knowledge about the cards and offers to send them to you via FedEx for $200 upfront and $200 when received. He then sends a fake California license with a non-existent address on it and a supposed FedEx confirmation number so you can track the package. Of course the number he sends cannot be verified when you call FedEx. When you call him on his guise he starts a rant and says he's gonna call the police for stealing his identity. He goes by the name of Alex Rodriguez. >>
Sorry this happen to you. Sounds like you got scammed out at least $200 upfront.
I guess he figured I wouldn't confirm with FedEx!
