Who is so sensitive that they would be offended by this? Unbelievable.

Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Apologized for Lin-sanity flavoured yogurt!. It was a fortune cookie flavor. I guess Oriental restaurants need to quite selling them now because it will offend people. Oops, I said Oriental. I hope nobody was offended. I meant Asian-Americans. So, what about an American that immigrates to Asia - are they American-Asian? Grow up, people.

    I saw that, I understand the one flavor about sweaty balls or whatever being offensive but this is just stupid. ITS A COOKIE

    I've done this in the past - my thread - Lin-Sanity - as John has linked - was put up last nite when I saw it on Yahoo.

    I thought - wow! Are people really "that" sensitive?

    This was rabble rousing - many people wrote/twittered - "I'm Asian - what do I care what's in the ice cream."

    The Liberals are trying to rule the roost - eventually the majority will wake up - and voice their dissent IMO.

    That actually sounds pretty awesome. I'm thinking it would be more of a sherbet than an ice cream.

    Any "apology" that includes the words IF and/or ANY is not an apology anyway.

    Ben & Jerry's response..."IF our actions offended ANYone..." is not an apology at all.

    So, we're safe!

    This whole thing sounds manufactured to me. Like Ben & Jerry's created the ice cream, then pulled it in response to non-existent outrage, issued a press release apologizing for something nobody had complained about and - voila - instant publicity and controversy.
