Help! Can someone answer a question regarding the Stacks Jan 2011 Americana sale?
Regarding the Stack's Americana catalog of January 26-27, 2011:
Lots 6301 and 6302 were American Institute award medals. The reverses are likely engraved - who were these awarded to?
And, regarding lot 6302, do the two halves of the wreath on the reverse meet at the top? Or is "Awarded To" present at the top?
THANKS so much to anyone who can help with this!!!

Geez, they act like this is U.S. security clearance material!
Probably doesn't answer your questions, but both lots showed no images.

I see the red "X's" online... Were these illustrated in the print edition? Or just illustrated online, around the time of the sale?
<< <i>The images on all the archived Stack's sales are not visible for some reason. I do not know exactly when it happened - perhaps 2 months ago or so. >>
I hope they come back soon

To be clear, it is only the auctions on the legacy Stack's site that are "image-less". The stuff on the Stack's archive site seems OK.

I never saw the printed catalog, just the online archive.

There is a picture of this lot in the print catalog and "Awarded To" appears between the halves of the wreath. There is no picture of lot 6301.
Hope they bring the pics back to the legacy.stacks.com site.
Found a link on that site called "Search the previous Stack's website" that takes you to another,
http://prior.stacks.com/searchauctionsadvanced.aspx
This site covers Stack's and ANR sales from 7-25-2003 to 5-21-2010 and seems to have all the pictures after checking a couple of auctions.
There is some value in physical catalogs as online stuff can disappear like Superior auctions and these pictures did.
