Hockey autograph collectors ? for you.

I am starting a new project collecting 500 goal scorers autograph 8x10s and I am wondering if some players autographs are harder to come buy than others? I know Maurice Richard is not living anymore, but are some players signatures harder to find like the more unpoplar players like Verbeek, Bondra, and Andreychuk? My focuss is to find pictures signed buy the players with 500 goals or more with the team they are most associated with. Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks.

  • That's a big project as there are 42 500 goal scorers. If it was me I'd try to narrow it down a little. Maybe the top 20 or 25 goal scorers. I'd get Gordie Howe's auto first.

I collect signed hockey sticks and and I'm trying to get the top 10 point scorers. I still need the Yzerman and Francis.

Best advice depending if you're getting them on a single piece w/ multiple autographs or separate trading cards or something...

Get Johnny Bucyk and Jean Beliveau ASAP. Both are older and you can get them free TTM (Bucyk likes a $5 donation).

Messier is probably the toughest. He's a pain in the you know what.

Some guys like Frank Mahovlich don't sign in the mail. Gretzky will be your most expensive I believe. Bossy is at a show in Chicago in March that I know some board members here are going to.

I have been out of this game for awhile but other then Gretzky, Richard and Howe I can't really
see you spending a ton. Oh yeah Messier will set you back some..
Here's a good start to your project as I still have itimage
