Thanks for voting everyone I've had this coin for about 6 months now and somewhat forgot about it until I pulled out a bunch of coins last night to photo!!!
I voted for EF-40, but it wasn't easy since the wear and strike pattern is so uneven!
Added to my coin knowledge the 1 in "10 C." comes pointed like yours or flat. The flat top 1 in EF40 according to the RB is $2k, $425 for the pointed 1. Now that I've did a little research I won't forget this bit of info. Nice coin BTW.

Find me a Flat Top 1 in EF-40 for $2k and I will buy it!!!
Thanks for sharing your cool coin. That's a real tough one. My original guess was a VF 30. But the reverse seems really detailed. Not sure what the process is for bringing up the grade. So I'll make a final guess of VF-35.

We agree completely.
It's clearly an obverse that's weakly struck -- a quick glance at the reverse suggests a coin that's closer to AU than VF. However, I never quite know how the TPGs grade these coins. Sometimes they net them down, other times they look past it and grade wear.

That is only important to a few people on this board, and I didn't want to make it seem like I was giving some quasi-excuse to suggest it is actually better or worse in terms of grade than it really is.
<< <i>I said XF40 as well, but it looks lightly cleaned to me as well >>
You actually nailed it. There are some very LIGHT hairlines on the obverse of this coin probably from a quick wipe. My picture was not trying to hide any of the hairlines, they are just very difficult to detect.

<< <i>It's only worth worrying about if it's a JR-10 or a JR-14.

My 7th(?) finest known VF-20 cost me about $1k!
I pass a small shop everyday driving to work. He has quite a few
bust dimes, now that I know this I'll check em out.
