Does any one know what has been the rough premium to pay for the AGE proof from the USMint? (excuse my wordiness)

premiums paid to the mint for gold AGE proofs are determined by the weekly average spot price of gold.

Whenever I've done a premium analysis, the Proof AGEs are being sold by the Mint at around 30% on the 4-coin sets, up to 35% on the 1/10th oz and down around 20% to 25% on the 1 oz., with the other fractionals somewhere in-between. Of course, with the chart only being subject to change once a week, and the daily spot price fluctuations in gold, the premium percentages change daily as well.

When gold is on the move, you can sometimes get a reasonable deal. Other times, it's not worth it.
