You know, I'm on the fence here -- I think it'll grade without the gennie label; the scratch is in one of the worst focal areas it can be in; yet, it is old, well-blended, and this is a huge image of a tiny coin. My guess, yes, it'll grade, though it might be a coin toss. Were it a brighter/newer scratch, no doubt it'd genuine.
Genuine, scratched. It looks like a coin that a typical Sunday bourse dealer would have in his stock at full price, waiting for a "live one" to come along.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Guess I'm a "live one". Thank goodness at least it's an R-5

<< <i>I think it will grade (if submitted on a sunny day with the wind at your back), but even then it will be netted down considerably. >>
Yeah, what he said...

<< <i>Geez 291fifth, are you ever not grumpy? I do think it'll grade, especially per the example Barndog posted.
Grumpy? When am I ever grumpy? I just think of myself as being accurate.
