A couple of toned dimes with TRUEVIEWs - Grades Posted

Phil imaged a couple more of the coins I submitted at Long Beach, and I'd say he nailed these, particularly the Roosie.
Grades are posted toward the end of the thread to save you the time of looking them up.

I know Mercs but I don't know Roosies very well so I will defer to others I think.

Tough crowd, particularly on the Roosie. Both of these coins have
superb luster, which isn't really captured in the photos. Also, softer
strikes are quite common on WWII S-mint coins.
I believe both coins are solid for the grades assigned.
Very nice coins.

truly just don't see the fb on the roosey though...at all
<< <i>eggcellent grades there...yeah i figuired i was hard on the merc as i get a lil lost on high grades as luster can out weigh strike in grade awarded

Teddy,
I'm looking at the Roosie in hand, and the bands, while maybe not "hammered", do not exhibit any
breaks. There is some toning at the upper left band that maybe appears as a break, but it's not.
This is an issue that commonly exhibits full bands, and there's not as much of a premium for FB as
on many other date/MMs in the series.
just on the image i can't see it
that's where the rotate and tilt in hand out weighs an online image unless you make a ".gif" or vid
very nice coins and love those colors...
