I have already obtained my copy and highly recommend it. Extremely easy to find stuff, shaded rows every other line in tables, 12 prices for circ/Unc/SP coins. The prices are significantly lower than Trends and seem more in line with reality as well.

I have mine also. Great book, especially for tokens. Beautiful pictures. A must for any Canadian collector. This makes my seventh. I had one of Robs but sold it. Also have five of Zoell's. You never have enough.

    prices are lower?
One has to ask the question: When and HOW were these prices established and what are they based on?
wHo decides on what coins should cost?
    Is it Trends editors?
    is it DR. Haxby?
    Is is the auctions?
Is it , what I always hear in Europe, some old World coin book?
Is it a combination of the above?
OR, is it perhaps simply a educated buyer who has an amount of "play-money" set in his mind which he is willing to pay for a coin?
SYL, you must have gotten a free copy..... certainly deserve one... Can not imagine that Dr. J forgot you.....

Doctor Haxby's new book is a most welcome tome to the Canadian Numismatic community.
