  • New regulations tracking billion purchases? I would like to start to order directly from them. What are shipping charges like?

Credit Card sales security. The new norm, especially with high dollar purchase. Do they accept wire transfer? might be easier.

I was struck off guard and thought it might be a phishing attempt, so I cancelled and ordered from APMEX,
which was a lot cheaper than getting from Perth!

Sorry you went thru all that.I just recieved an order thru the perth mint.No problems or questions. It was my first order from them.As I recall, when I got to the checkout phase, they posted an advisory that first time orders may warrant an inquiry depending on method of payment, and the use of a delivery address not associated with the card used, and the amount of the order. It also stated that if this was the case you may be asked to use paypal to pay for the order. My order was for a show special dragon coin and I paid about $100.I also paid about $20 for them to use fed ex for delivery for peace of mind. The total due was $119 I believe and was a bargain compared to an order from apmex which would have cost me about $128 with shipping and taxes and with the added irritation of hoping that the USPS would actually deliver my package which I doubted since I have had to deal with the postal inspector involving the last two orders to me from apmex.

I have ordered from them several times and never got anything like that, but none of the individual orders was over several hundred dollars.

  • I ordered last year. Paid using Paypal with no hassles. Postage was stiff though.
