Machin Mills or british 1778 1/2p?

I picked this up quite a while ago and threw it in the " I'll get to it later box" from what I gather from the information I found some of these were made here in the US and some were counterfeited in Great Britain and got shipped over here. Can someone here enlighten me on this piece or give me a little direction on where to go ( I have an ex who tells me where to go all the time but it's to hot to enjoy my coins ......

i'd definitely say that is a 1778 Machin Mill halfpenny and not a British made counterfeit

Yes, it is a Vlack 13-78B.
