Determining Value

Not often do you see a complete set 100% PSA graded for sale however when you do prices are usually off the board and well over SMR price.
What would you suggest the best way of determining a price of a complete set.

There are many completed sets that have sold on Ebay and the other online auction values. Try to remember what those have sold for, so you will have a basis for what the set should be worth. Throw SMR out the window, as it is usually inflated.

This is a situation where a VCP membership, even for a day, is very helpful. If you don't "know" a set the ending prices on the tough cards are usually very surprising. I've purchased a few sets to break up and based my bids using VCP and have done prety well with them.
