Met Board Member K Last Night

K (Adam) was passing through RI last night and stopped by to buy some older wax from me. We spoke for 1 1/2 hours about cards, his Red Sox team sets on the registry, Boston sports, etc. It was a pleasure to meet him, so if Adam ever contacts anyone about buying or selling something on CU, know that he is a good guy to deal with.

Thanks Mike. It was a pleasure to meet you and your son. Had a great time visiting your shop and will definitely try to stop by when passing through in the future.

BTW I busted the 92 Classic Best case hunting for the auto. Found it in the 3rd pack of the 9th box. Nolan Ryan 1179/3100 I'll try to post a pic when I get the chance. I also separated about a 3 inch stack of the Star cards that I'll eventually sort through to find some grade worthy cards. Won't be until probably November or so when I rerturn from my deployment but I'll try to stay in touch.

Oh yeah almost forgot to mention that I watched the Tony C video you gave me. There were definitely a couple segments that had my eyes welling up. Thanks a ton.

Ripped the box of 89 UD last night. Pulled 2 Griffey's, 2 Johnson's, and a Smoltz RC amongst all the other HOFers.

    Another great box!
