Stereo Microscope !!!!

stereo microscope to be able
to check for varieties and errors.
Asking forum members for sugestions
on types, makes, power. etc. Thanks !!!

The ANA had some pretty good ones for sale at reasonable prices, the last time I looked into it (several years ago).

the "QX5" is a different option if you haven't considered...
a digital that hooks up to your computer so your monitor is viewing screen
gives you instant image capturing onto your hard drive too

I have a Bausch & Lomb Stereozoom 4 with 10x eyepieces. Gives me a magnification range of 7-30x. I have a fluorescent ringlight attached to it which is 1/3 "blacked out" with a business card. I won't endorse or discourage purchase of the Chinese scopes on eBay, as some may have good optics, some may not. It used to be they all had bad chromatic aberrations, but that may no longer be the case.
