J.R. Richard Autograph Question

Does anyone have a working address for retired MLB Pitcher J.R, Richard?

I would like to get a 1979 Topps #6 Ryan/Richard card signed by both.

Let me know if you can help out.

Dave

There is someone on SCN that does a Private Signing with him every year. I dont know if he will be doing it again soon. I think he has been about 15.00. I'll keep an eye out for it and let you know.
  • I've been looking on signingshotline.com but haven't seen him yet.

    Thank for the assistance.

  • If I am not mistaken, he is now a Pastor at a church in TX. He may very well sign something for you for a small donation to the church. You should be able to google it and get the address. Good luck. What a great pitcher he was before the stroke.

Dave ... here is what StarTiger has.

Unfortunately there are no successes recorded.

The first addy was listed in 2008 ... the second in 2006.

I would go to WhitePages.Com and try to cross reference them.

  • Unfortunatally, the white pages were not much help. I found a James R. Richard on Sandpipe in Houston Texas. ????

But, he might not even live in Houston anymore.

I did a web search, could not find Minister James Richard, at least that was alive (I found one that died some time ago).

  • I remember hearing a story about him on the radio a few years ago and just googled it to confirm. Unfortunately, google his name and homeless for your answer. There was alot of talk on the local sports radio about how the Astros should help him out.
