Kinda OT - Coin book editors

How much do they charge by the hr or by the book?

Who has good references. Im a little paranoid about loosing my book to someone else BUT Im sure here I will find a lead to a very trust worthy editor.

Let me know who you guys can suggest.

Do you want a copy editor - that is, someone who doesn't know numismatics, but can fix your grammar, etc. and make suggestions regarding the "layout" of your book (which chapter goes before another, that sort of thing) or do you want a "peer reviewer" - that is, someone who knows numismatics and can make suggestions about the content of the book?

For suggestions for copy editor, I'd contact Coinasaurus or Roger Burdette ATS; you could also contact Zyrus Press to enquire what services they offer numismatic authors.

For a "Peer Reviewer", I'd contact numismatists who know a lot about the subject you're writing about.

At least, Peer Reviewers usually work for acknowledgement and a free copy of the book; copy editors prefer cash (unless you happen to have a good relationship with someone who can do both functions).
