How's this for a frequent flyer reward??

LakesammmanLakesammman Posts: 17,380 ✭✭✭✭✭
Partner of mine says his dad got this from Alaska Airlines years ago as a frequent flyer reward.

From what I can gather via Google, they aren't supposed to be numbered if they are from Alaska.

Anyone have additional info that might shed some light on the subject??

Thanks! image

I used to have picture of the actual ads from Alaska air. They offered other types of gold bullion as well, Maple leafs, Credit suisse, Engelhards.

Most of the Engelhard Gram bars comes from their frequent flyer rewards, the envelopes are pretty neat and some of them have dates written which is great for dating the bars themselves.

I think the Credit suisse bars were before the engelhards.

Thanks for posting the Gold Coast piece. Unfortunately, the paperwork is missing from mine.

1/2 ounce seems like alot for a FF program!
