Look dude let get one thing straight, I dont talk Schmidt. I state facts.
“The most essential gift for a good writer is a built-in, shock-proof, Schmidt detector. This is the writer's radar and all great writers have had it.” --- Ernest Hemingway
I can't beleive it. I get up this morning and my dog had Schmidt on the the floor! And I thought he was house broken........Scared the Schmidt out of me when I almost stepped in it.
This is one of the best Schmidtin threads I have read. It doesn't help that I don't read much.....
Can anyone explain why I just used "read" twice above spelled the same but with two ways to pronounce it?
Just wondering.......

Mike is the only son of O. Schmidt and Awe Schmidt. O. Schmidt, the fertilizer magnate, married Awe Schmidt, the owner of Knee-deep N.Schmidt, Inc.
In turn, Mike Schmidt married Noe Schmidt, and the deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schmidt, Fulla Schmidt, Giva Schmidt, Bull Schmidt and the twins, Deep Schmidt and Dip Schmidt.
Against her parents objections, Deep Schmidt married Dump Schmidt, a high school drop-out. After being married 15 years, Mike and Noe Schmidt divorced. Noe Schmidt later married Mr. Scherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schmidt-Sherlock.
Dip Schmidt married Loada Schmidt and they produced a nervous son, Chicken Schmidt. Fulla Schmidt and Giva Schmidt were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspapers announced the Schmidt-Happens wedding. They created a bumper sticker and made millions. You've probably seen it...
The Schmidt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd and Hoarse. Bull Schmidt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new bride Pisa Schmidt.
So now when someone says, "You don't know Mike Schmidt," you can correct them and inform them of your more than deep knowledge of the family tree.
<< <i>Dan, that is one Schmidty story. Did Noe Schmidt-Sherlock end up with half his Schmidt??? >>
Unfortunately, mike never learned the important lesson to not Schmidt where you eat. that and his attorney didnt know Schmidt about divorce law. She got most of his Schmidt in the settlement

Here I sit, broken hearted
Payed my dime, and only farted.
Just last week, I took a chance
Kept my change, and Schmidt my pants.
"Live everyday, don't throw it away"
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
