I thought at one point it was also recorded that Black Diamond's head was stuffed and on display in a steakhouse in NYC.

The stuffed head of Black Diamond was on display at the 1985 ANA in Baltimore.
  • And there's even more to the story. They got something like 600 lbs of Buffalo meat, but sold something like 2000 lbs of steak. image

Such an amazing, beautiful and magnificant creature, with such a tragic history.

My greatest admiration and appreciation go out to those who have worked to restore Bison populations to wildlands throughout the US and even Mexico... I won't mention any names, but you know who you are....image

Neat label, what's the story behind the label?
