Unknown how they came to be in attic but building was owned by wine producer who traded with Britain and U.S. in 1930s

    Great story, and it will be interesting to follow in as it unfolds.

    Does anyone have any knowledge about the laws in France on the topic of discoveries like this? Would be interesting to know who would have the better claim to ownership of the coins.
