Opinions wanted on this card

Have been looking for a very well centered 61 Mantle, with no annoying print bubbles, tilt, registration problems, or snow in the black background for almost 3 years.
Camre across this one currently for sale.
Side to side is perfect, but T/B is another story. Great registration, no snow, and only the tinyist amount of print bubbles in the nameplate.
I have always sacrificed T/B centering on cards that were 50/50 side to side and meet all my other expectations, just can't decide on this one.
Is the eye appeal there or not? This is the last 60's Mantle I need for my set. Should I add it as a placeholder and continue looking, add it as a permanant addition, pass altogether and keep looking?

Kirk, your Rose has similar centering to this Mantle. I thinks it's a nice card and on a 61 I would be far more concerned with registration than centering. I agree with you Bob, the standard dots and print found on this card are a huge negative to me. If your going to purchase a card that's not centered, from top to bottom is the way to go. Additionally, if your going to be buying a PSA 7 in this card, your going to have to sacrifice somewhere on the card just due to the grades itself. if you can buy this card for standard 61 PSA7 money, I think you should buy it.

Matt, you are correct my Rose is off t/b but the blue disguises it (a little). T/b centering doesnt bother me if it is off on the bottom.
It's a nice looking card, but if you have been looking for over three years I would say keep looking. The focus of this card (Mantle's face) is near the top of the card. That being said, the first thing you look at is the top of the card. It's noticeable that the centering is off. I know you are very particular with the Mantles that you recently purchased and don't think you would be happy with this one. If you want to "fill the void" while you are looking for a better one, I'd say pick this one up if you can get if for $450.00 or less. That way, when you find a better one, you should have no trouble selling it for about what you paid.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Had an offer for me to accept at less than what Doug suggested; however, I guess it's not killing me having the hole in my set. I have a 63 Clemente with the same centering and out of this world registration, and I've never really been happy with it.
Thanks,
Bob
