Great Britain 1758/7 6d - Yes or No?

There's something going on with the 8 on this coin and looking up Spink I note there's an overdate for this year. So is this one?

    I have zilcho experience with this variety specifically, but in general I'd have to say, yes, that pretty conclusively looks like an 8/7 repunching to me.

    I used to dislike haymarking like that has on its obverse, but y'know, it's sort of growing on me, much like "woodgrain" toning on copper did. I'm constantly evolving, I guess. That's a very nice coin.
