I like when I find one of my old pedigreed coins sell.

Every once and a while I stumble across one of my pedigreed coins selling by someone else. This one went for about twice as much as the price guide.

Cool. I had a shot at a pedigree label for a brief shining moment, with a gold type set. That was long ago when the Registry was still fairly new. I wasn't in the Top Ten for long, even then. I was selling the set so I didn't go for the pedigree. Now I wouldn't stand a chance on even a cheap Registry, let alone a gold set.

It must be kind of a nostalgic ego booster to come across your old friends by chance, eh?

    Tony,

You have a good eye, esp for the series, so that isn't a surprise. From the photos, that coin looks better than a MS63FB....do you recall (if you have any old notes about it, etc) if you also thought it was a much better grade than it was given?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I would not know anything about that feeling and probably never will. image

Didn't keep those kinds of notes; however, I will say many of my coins would upgrade if I wanted to spend the money. I have yellow stickies on many of my coins. Those stickies just means to send them in sometime.
