Received my 19 first place certificates today, and like wybrit, there will be none for 2012.

With myself, wybrit, JCM, Ashby, and lawjudge out of the British registry ATS that registry looks a tad pale compared to what it once was.

Is there a story there? I don't normally keep up with the registry talk. The only thing I'd ever be suitable for would be a Japanese type set. Last time I looked they only had gold, and those I don't collect.

I think they're referring to NGC no longer admitting PCGS coins into their Registry.

To tell you the truth, I always found it rather odd that they did. Nice, but hard to understand from a corporate competition point of view and all that.

Now that they're changing horses in midstream a lot of riders will be dismounting or falling off, getting wet and mad, and there we are now, it looks like.

Come to think of it, it has affected one of my two signature sets but that particular one was abandoned anyway.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
