Ancient Coin? What is it?

I picked this up somewhere along the way and have no idea if its a coin, jewelry or ??
The obverse is smooth with no markings. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Keith

    Yep, it's an ancient coin all right, and silver, too, from the looks of it. From some non-classical Near Eastern culture, perhaps.

    That's as far as I can go. You've got me stumped. But it definitely looks to be ancient, and a coin. The flan and striking seem right.

    No markings at all on the other side, though? Curious. Very curious.

    Might be Cambodian.

    I wasn't thinking quite that far east. I was thinking more Near Eastern or central Asian, like Persia, India, Afghanistan-ish.

    Just a gut instinct. Some Zoroastrian imagery there, maybe.

    I'm just throwin' darts into the fog.

    Don,
    You are absolutely right! I started searching images of ancient coins working my way east from Greece and there it was;
    A Cambodian Silver Hamsa Fuang minted between 1600-1800.

    Mystery solved!

    Thanks,
    Keith
