Lampo Cassius Clay on ebay

Seller says near mint but was wondering if the borders are trimmed? They look shorter to me for some reason and this is a card in one of my regular searches.

That sticker is so miscut it is insane. I say a PSA 4 or 5 at most. Corners look soft on the back too.

That being said any example of this is cool just not worth a G in my book.

I don't thinks it's trimmed just miscut. You can see the small black line on the bottom left corner. This is on every example I've seen. It looks to be in the right place. Considering you can see the next card on the sheet... Im not even sure psa would slab it. Im more of centering guy than a corners guy so this card has very little appeal to me. Def not worth 900... I think at best 200. More and more these are starting to surface since prices have started to pick up. I think you you could find one with much better eye appeal for half the sellers asking price if you are patient. The back seems to be textured too... Looks odd to me

I don't think it's trimmed, but severely miscut. This card is often miscut. Nice corners, though.

Top left and lower right corners are not very strong.

I think THIS is probably the card the OP is talking about.

    That is much nicer!!!

Not sure if it is trimmed maybe there are some haircut experts who can chime in.

The seller is from Italy and has sold a number of nice stickers in the past.

I think this will go for a big number either way.

It looks good to me, as well. But it's obviously a shorter card L/R than the first example. I'm thinking there were some cutting discrepancies when the cards were originally produced, because they both look factory cut to me.

I'm pretty sure the second one is trimmed. If you look at both cards the left boarder is about the while the right one is very narrow on one and much wider on the other. The card looks way off to me. I wouldn't buy either... But if I had to pick one it would be the miscut one because the other looks considerably trimmed to me. I'm pretty sure I've purchased cards from that seller and I didn't have any issue. Im not saying that he trimmed the card or is intentionally selling a trimmed card... I don't really think the standards we have are understood by every international seller. I've gotten cards many times just in a penny sleeve and taped to a post card. A Lampo that I bought for a few hundred was shipped with no penny sleeve or plastic at all... A little ot but that same seller has a pretty nice 67 perfetti that will prob go for more than the lampo. That is one Ali card that I think is over valued. It's hand cut and produced in 67 so it's out of the rookie card discussion. The only reason why I think it goes for so much is that it uses an uncropped pic so I think people think its earlier than the lampo and panini

Here's one of mine. I'm pretty certain is untrimmed (at least it'd better be).

Here is a slabbed one. I don't see how the one on eBay could not get either a min size req or evidence of trimming.
