I bought about $400 worth from two different banks. With the exception of a couple of the 40% the rest were found in the two $20 rolls I received, yep $20 rolls, never seen them before.
excellent! it's finds like that which make the "dirty fingers" of roll searching worth it.

Thanks for all the Sucks. From all the threads I have read about roll searching I feel pretty lucky. The $20 rolls were kind and if any of you ever see them get em. The better half thinks its the best and now has plans to scour the banks, +1 for LoL

Natepuppy, The "duds" go back to the bank(s). Remember that regardless of the looks and heavy sighs you'll get, taking rolled coins to the bank is not a crime
<< <i>Never bought 50 cent rolls from bank, do you just go right back and exchange all the 50 cent pieces that aren't worth more? >>
If you are smart, you will get the coins from one bank and turn in the non-silver at another bank. If not, you may find it harder to get coins as they may just cut you off, particularly if you don't have a nice big account with them, or they may say they can't order more....or they may just give you the same coins over and over.
They don't HAVE to order coins for you. It's a service that costs them money. Someone has to pay for the ordering/transportation/time. Most do it for their customers....don't become a pain and they will likely keep doing it for you
