Finally finished imaging all of the coins in the 8 Reales Madness set across the street.
Some of these were a real pain the butt to image properly, especially through the slabs. Hope you like the outcome.

TalerUniverse.com is a curated numismatic project dedicated to the silver talers, crowns, and medals of the Habsburg Empire and the Holy Roman Empire, spanning the 16th–18th centuries. The collection emphasizes historically significant issues, rare mint varieties, and high-grade NGC/PCGS examples, presented with detailed historical context, scholarly references, and high-resolution photography. TalerUniverse aims to serve both as a private collection showcase and a growing reference resource for collectors, researchers, and students of early-modern European coinage.

Thank you, Gary. By the way, received the book yesterday evening and have been reading it already - great reference! Thank you for the note, as well.
<< <i>Just took a peek at these over lunch - I gotta admit I really like this project you put together - you probably know a few pieces are obviously undergraded right?... I see at least 3-4 that are in AU holders, and that really merit MS61-62 unless you really doctored these photos
I haven't doctored the shots, but keep in mind that most were taken in a way that focuses on the color vs the surface condition. Having said that, there are a few coins that I would consider sliders, with the 1777 Mo-FF being the prime candidate with just a touch of cabinet friction. There's also a slider the other way - that 1745 should be an AU58 and would most likely become that if I send it to PCGS.
I like PCGS's strict grading standards, but quite often they are not consistent when it comes to weak strike and planchet defects. I've seen them duck points for strike weakness in some cases and not in others. Same for planchet irregularities.
Collecting AND imaging.
