1985 Donruss Rack Box rip results....

Ripped the entire box yesterday with the exception of 9 star packs. The star packs include 1 with Tony Gwynn and Don Sutton, 2 with Eric Davis rookie (not that he's that big a star, but he was one of my favorites growing up and that is a cool card), 1 with Rod Carew, 1 with Rickey Henderson, 1 with Dwight Gooden, 1 with Pete Rose as an Expo, 1 with Pete Rose as a Red, and 1 with Mattingly/Winfield 2 for the Title (yellow letters).

I got 38 cards that I will grade. These include 0 or low pop cards or ones that have an average VCP of over $20. Overall the centering was pretty bad top to bottom but it was a fun rip. I got 4 Clemens, all of which have shots at 9, 6 Pucketts (none gradeable), and 5 Hershisers (none gradeable). This was also an error box and I got 3 Seaver/Bannister errors and 4 Jeff Pendleton (Terry) errors. The 2 for the Title Card were all yellow letters also.

One thing of note, I had 2 packs with Dave Winfield on top, but noticed that Puckett appeared about 6-7 cards down from Winfield in a repeating sequence. I opened those 2 and sure enough, got a Puckett in each.

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009.     I think the '85 Donruss Rack Cases in general are, yes.

    not sure. Probably throw a couple nice sets together when I get a chance.
