this has been the state of the hobby for quite awhile.....i remember a strange guy with a briefcase full of Abraham Lincoln hair samples going from table to table at the National........in 1991.
That's actually more the state of the hobby then. Hair collecting use to be more popular then autograph collecting.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

what i find most sad about this is that it appears to be from a letter of some kind..therefore destroying a piece of american history to make a card...just sad..as a collector i would rather pull a card that would entitle me to get the whole document framed or something

Agree...I wonder when Panini or UD will put out, "Constitutional Convention Used Pieces of the Article 6 of the US Constitution" or "Official Mass Used Pieces of Pope John Paul II's Bible."
totally agree with bender, sad that they destroyed a historical doc to make a card to help move their product. I would love to have a Washington autograph, but would rather it be in the form of a redemption.

i am a huge theodore roosevelt fan and will someday own a signed book of his (once i can afford it) but would hate to see one of the books destroyed to make a card...that is destroying history that cannot be put back together
I agree, hate to see a historical document destroyed for this card. I like the full document redemption idea. I also think it is funny this seller has a $14,999 card but only springs for one picture of it and has 5 pictures of his shop....

Hysterical that the card specifies the swatch is taken from the front. Gotta love the Japanese!

For string style bikinis, there is not much froom for Swatch material. Those cards may be limited to xx/15 or lower.

I would never buy one for one reason. How do I really know it is a real piece of their hair?
I have a problem trusting a company that only wants to make money. But that is me.
