Met the O'Brien Twins Last Night

Maybe some members might recall that I had a post on the BST a couple weeks ago board looking for a 1954T card of Ed & John O'Brien as I knew I would be meeting them at a charity event (I ended up buying a nice example off eBay for $12.50 ppd). Anyways, the event was last night and I did have the opportunity to meet them both & to get my card signed in person. I thought it was cool that Ed O'Brien actually commented that my card was one of the "real" ones and not one of the re-issues/reprints....By the way, for 81 years old, both brothers look terrific!

    Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    That was one of my favorite cards growing up. What kid didn't dream of being the double=play combination for a major league team with his brother? I have all of their "regular" Topps cards and several scarcer regionals.
