Books on gold and silver !!!

I need some help in locating reference books
on refining companies such a Englehard,
J&M, etc. and the history of the companies.
Mostly interested in pictures of various bars
and when they were manufactured, etc.

Timbuk3, I don't know of any reference books for Engelhard, JM or others. The About.Ag is probably the best resource. Its founder does an excellent job adding new bar types and production information as it comes to light.

I would dearly love to fully understand the chronology of bar types for Engelhard and JM. New types still pop up and the rationale for serial numbering is a mystery.
