Any Kurt Warner Fans Out There? Found Something Interesting

I picked this up auto card raw about a year ago and it sat around for a while. I submitted the card with a mass order over the summer and finally just got around to looking at it more closely in order to post for sale. The card seems to be very generic, but unique. I think the "THANK YOU JESUS" gives it a little flare. The 'born again" date is kinda interesting too. I didn't know that was a legit stat.

Any Kurt Warner fans or collectors seen anything like this before? Is it rare? Just curious. There is no company listed on the thing. I didn't know if this came from his church or some other parallel organization. Meatloaf

  • I'm almost positive he sent those out to people when they would send autograph requests.

I think he brought one to my door one Sunday afternoon.
  • Jesus mowed my lawn the other day. I wonder if thats the same Jesus, Kurt is thanking?

When he played here in St. Louis, he rarely ever signed. He did a lot for the community though, and I believe he would hand these out when he was hosting and/or attending events. The poster above is also correct, he too would send these out via mail to people who mailed him requesting an autograph. Personally, I'm not a Rams fan... nor was I ever a Warner fan... but I know a few folks that sent TTM to him back in the day... and got their stuff back unsigned, but got these cards back.

Kurt's little way of spreading the good word...

Lots of Christian athletes do something similar. Jason Hanson, the Lions kicker, does the same. I've got one of his.

Correct. Kurt sent these out in reply to TTM requests. The card he would send out changed over the years, so there are several varieties.
