Question regarding 4SC >>>

Had some questions in regards to the company on eBay that sells tons of cards, 4 Sharp Corners. Can someone please give me some insight into this company and where they obtain all of their cards from, also I have never personally had any problem with them, however always wonder in the back of my mind where all the cards come from, how they obtain so many PSA 10's, and if this will effect the future re-sale prices on many of these cards.

I assume that since PSA grades the cards that they are legit, just cannot imagine how many cards a month, a day that PSA must grade for this company.

Thanks!

  • they buy loads of raw cards and have them slabbed....when I saw sold high end raw sets at the national 2 years 4SC was the most educated buyer on low pops...

I have bought many PSA 8 wrestling cards from them so contrary to popular belief not all of their cards grade high.

I have never been disappointed with their service or the product I received.

In the bigger picture they have been known to sub a ton of cards and ultimately dilute the pop reports and certainly this takes a toll on the prices.

  • I have to say I love all of the cards that I have obtained, probably spend a little more every time I order, can't beat the selection for mid 80's cards, especially 1986 Fleer Basketball cards in PSA 9 condition...

  • I just dont know what sort of an operation it must be to list and monitor auctions on eBay with this many listings, thats unreal to me the amount of auctions going at any given time.
  • I've bought a bunch of cards from them, not through Ebay, but with their online store. Never had any problems, great customer service, decent prices, quick shipping, decent shipping charges never had a return. The more you buy the greater discount you get. Unlike 95% of the yahoo's selling on Ebay. Compared to Ebay's crap...night and day. As for as legit, I've entered all the cards in my registry, so I could be mistaken, but I would think PSA would have kicked them back if there was a problem. Just my 2 cents worth.

I am a fan but have recently had an issue that needs some improvement.

Bought a tougher PSA 9 from them and received a PSA 7 in the mail. Called them
and explained my situation. Stacy checked and found that they mixed up shipments
between me and another buyer. She was trying to contact the other buyer to get things
swapped and promised to get back to me in a few days.

That was a few weeks ago. They need to do better than that. I shouldnt have to chase them once I notify
them of an error they made between a card that cost over $100 and one that cost $10.

I know they will refund if they can't get the other buyer to be honest, but I'd prefer the card I
purchased. I can understand errors like this, but poor follow-up is not right.

    Ssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh... quiet please!

I actually just bought all the PSA 9's yesterday off of their website that they had listed below (or pocket change above) the current VCP average. Needed another project going forward, so in addition to working on an all PSA 10 1988 fleer set... gonna take a long-term run at a PSA 9 1986 set.

I've definitely had issues in the past with a few cards I got from 4SC... namely, PSA 10's that would probably be 8's or 9's if I, the common man, subbed them... but even those have been few and far between and I can't really hold that against them. I've never had a problem with their service though, that's always been great. I buy from them quite regularly.
  • I've been happy with a large majority of my purchases from them. I have received a few that I was shocked were graded as 10s, but that has been in the minority. I also received one that seemed undersized, aka replaced a ryan card with another Ryan card and the first fit perfectly in the holder, while the second one had quite a bit of size difference.

They definitely know there stuff and make smart purchases, but in their modern stuff some of their Bowman prices have got a bit outrageous... $40 for a PSA10 base card from a 2011 set, not in the ballpark of the typical $12-20 the same card sells for generally. But that's there perogative, if they sit on it long enough maybe a buyer comes along.

  • 4 Sharp Corners is the only source for me to get upgrades. For the last 5 years they have been able to get cards that I could only dream about getting. I know some people bad mouth them about their cards being overgraded and some are, but I have gotten cards overgraded. If I submitted 10,000 cards 10% would be overgraded. When I get some of their cards I say wow now thats a great card.

If I could only find the cards they find. Their service is always consistent as well.
