question for the '70 Topps baseball experts

I just got a few raw cards in the mail to add to my '70 set. One of them is #424 Mike Kilkenny. Card looks great- the only strange thing is that the circle on the top left of the back of the card is white, not yellow. I have never seen this before.

Is this a known variation? Print error? Am I currently the proud owner of a fake '70 Topps Mike Kilkenny?

Any wisdom appreciated........

  • Thanks Sean! Never crossed my mind that there would ever have been a past thread about this issue.
