Yep...... I sold out to the Devil as well!

Like Kirk I too took the plunge and forked over a ridiculous amount to get Hank Aaron. I told myself I would never do anything with Steiner, but they were my only option in getting Mr. Aaron.

What was the grade on that before you cracked it?
Awesome by the way!

Authentic Altered. There is a crease on the lower right side of the card that someone felt needed to be pressed out.
I just want the card in an Authentic holder, so the grade doesn't matter to me. It's got great eye appeal, which is what I was looking for.
I think long term you just can't go wrong with getting a nice Hank Aaron rookie signed.
Nice work!
<< <i>Boy how times have changed! In the late 70s and early 80s Sports Collectors Digest published the addresses of most of the living Hall of Famers and I sent Mr. Aaron a nice letter (nice for a 10yo I suppose) a SASE and an index card and a month or so later, I got it back in the mail signed. Of course for all I know, his kid signed it but it definitely looks right. I did the same for Joe DiMaggio, Duke Snider, and a few others with equal success.

Steiner's motto should be you'll never make more money than us. Signed photos of Manningham's SB catch are being offered for $145.....
BTW, I went to their site and the link for upcoming signings didn't work. Do any of you know if there is another Aaron signing upcoming? Thanks.
