Did some small insignificant "research" on the pop reports psa vs beckett on the following topps cards:
1) 1983 gwynn
2) 1983 boggs
3) 1983 sandberg
4) 1982 ripken
5) 1982 traded ripken
6) 1980 henderson
7) 1978 Murray
The totals came in as follows:
PSA total graded 78,588 #9's 17.9% #10's 1.25%
Beckett Total graded 25,489 #9's 8.1% #9.5's 2.1%
Other than Murray, the smallest # of 9's was 1,246 for henderson. In fact, there are more 1982 topps traded ripken 9's than all the Beckett 9's combined in this survey. Just some food for thought.
