I'm Done !!! Anybody have the contact info for BidStart?

Morning,

Just hung up on E-Bay after an hour getting nowhere, I'm done, am moving everything over to Bidstart before I get the rest of my listings removed and closing my Store and I'm done with E-Bay.

Anybody got contact info for Bidstart?

Thanks

Neil

Sorry to see you ran into the incompetence that is eBay customer service. I had slightly better luck calling Paypal and having them transfer me to eBay. As a preferred customer, they get you to a better level of customer service. The guy I talked to wouldn't resolve the problem I had (low DSR rating due to shipping) but he was more knowledgeable and was actually able to answer some of my questions. I'll continue to sell on eBay but only at a rate that utilizes my 50 free listings per month. Aside from that, I'll use alternate auction sites.

Somebody who can actually help, please provide a Name and Phone number to their Sales guy, I spoke to him awhile back but can't find his info.

    Thanks

I agree with Sportlots auctions. You only pay a low listing fee, a small Paypal %, NO Final Value Fee. For me it generally comes out to about 7% or 8% total for fees, much less than Feebay. The only downside is you only get paid once a month( which I am fine with, only 1 Paypal transaction per month) and you have to pay the shipping upfront which you also get reinbursed once a month.

Not a lot of PSA graded but there are many RAW midgrade non sports cards sold on there that bring strong prices. I know this because I sell in that category all the time and couldn't be happier. In fact many cards I am selling on sportlots had little to no interest on Ebay and was costing me money with all the fees.

I just checked out Sportlots for the first time and unless I was in the wrong area, there were only 155 BB cards listed on the site.

  • Morning,

Are we looking at the same site? I only get 5 options for Search, BB, FB, BASB, Hock, Racing.

Where do you see an Other option?

    Neil,
You need to go to the tab Auction Home and it will take you to where the auctions are being run.

  • Morning,

Also just signed up with Ecrater and E-Bid, going to take a vacation day tomorrow, sit in front of the computor and Duplicate everything on those two sites so when E-Bay pulls the plug I am ahead of the game.

Also still need that contact info for BidStart?

    Thanks

  • MOrning,

Two things jump out at me right away, how many items do you end up selling at .25 cents and losing your A$$ on, and that Postage looks brutal, even less than the actual postage even before the Mailer or anything?

Neil just have Rick sell your stuff. Have you calculated out how much you'll really save by doing it on your own?

Time to list, deal with EBay like you did, nevermind paypal, having to get a 1099 or whatever, customer returns, non paying buyers, shipping, etc. What are you really saving 5, 10%? Pack and ship that's it!! Get paid.

That is why he is not posting tonight.

    A very good reason indeed.
