2012 improving re baseball cards

We are over 2 months into the year and nobody has kvetched about the prices some prominent card dealers are asking.
In the USA all men are created equal but some are more equal than others....

    That's because some collectors are still lying on the floor, out cold, waiting on the smelling salts.

    Tight? No. Just not stupid. For example, one seller has this card 1971 Deacon Jones for $25. That's a reasonable price for that card. You might find it for less, but it still is a fair price. Another seller is selling the same card in the same grade here for $750. Now, not buying this one is not the collector being "tight". This is the collector not being an idiot.

    yep, the method of sale seems to be buy low, double the price and put a BIN and then sit on it...

    soundgard, oh you'd be surprised. At least this seller gives free shipping, I'm shocked they don't have about a $15 shipping fee on top of the price. And, yes there are folks out there that willingly pay that too.
