    We could do that. I like the idea of the 77 Topps Wax.

    I just talked to Steve.

    He has a fresh case of 87/88 Basketball, and would be willing to do $1150 per box. That is the same price on his website, but he paid a premium for the sealed case. That would be a fun rip!

    Also he has a 1992 Stadium Club Football Series 3 case.

    Just relaying the info.

    Let me know what you guys want to do!

    They put it up as soon as they get it. These boards are full of the some of their biggest customers. Vintage wax etc is drying up...

    I'm too broke to get in on that basketball box right now but here's what you're looking at:

    For the $37.50/pack (after 10% discount) there's really only a couple rookies of note - Moses Malone (HOFer), Marvin Barnes and Maurice Lucas. 2nd year George Gervin and Bill Walton cards and the other random stars of the 70's (Dr. J/Maravich/Kareem/Frazier etc.) are cool. It's really not an easy set to find centered. There's quite a few low pops but at 330 cards, it's the biggest of the 70's basketball sets...so odds of pulling something spectacular are low. That said, for pack collectors, that price isn't bad at all.

    1984 Topps Football unopened wax case - $8500; 20 boxes; 10% discount equates to $383 per box. I've never bought Football before but that is a nice year at what I think is a good price for factory sealed case boxes. Dave

    so with a 16 box, 24 pack case of 82 topps cello, there is approximately a 1:2 chance there will be one Ripken RC top.

    16X24/792=.49

    Using that math, it's virtually a 1:1 chance that there will be one Ripken RC on either the top or bottom of a pack.

    Do people want cheaper packs to rip over more expensive packs to save? I think a second series 72 OPC box would be a fun box either to keep or rip. I would be willing to take 10 packs or so if needed to help sell it. But then I would also be interested in the early 70s hockey boxes.

    A lot of the 72 opc boxes out there have the gum bleeding through 4 cards in the pack.
    Not saying all of them do, but a lot do.

    I would love a 2001 Topps Traded rip. RCs of Pujols, Ichiro, Reyes... I pulled a PSA10 Pujols out of a BBCE pack last year.
    2.5 is pretty much my speed.
