Baseball Card Wall Display

Just wondering what the best quality card display for on a wall is. I want to be able to show graded and raw cards on the same display. Any suggestions?

    Graded Card Display

I have four of these and I am thrilled with them.

I have one of the same display cases that Dpeck100 referred to. I would say overall I am satisfied, and especially satisfied for the price. I've had mine for 6 months, and the only thing I noticed so far is that the door doesn't close completely flush on the bottom outside corners now. I happen to have a 7 yr old and a 9 yr old who could have been pulling on the corners when the case was locked though, so I don't blame the manufacturer. All in all, a nice looking relatively inexpensive display. I have mostly graded cards, but I also have some nongraded autos, and a couple of unopened packs in mine, and it looks great.

Case sells for $60. Look at the cards in eBay pic. All 36 cards together aren't worth $60.

My wife bought me one of these for Christmas. It's awesome. You can't beat the price, either.

Anyone have any experience with this one?

    50-capacity graded card wall cabinet

I need a 50-capacity and in cherry wood. Seems alright and the cheapest I could find for my specifications.

I do not own one, but nowhere in the description do I see "UV Protection". If the acrylic/glass is not, I believe sunlight and even bright lights from the room could eventually fade the cards. Hopefully others will chime in on this to let you know if that is true or not.

Pennozi advertises in Beckett; I have never used one, but I have heard people rave about them.

Good call. Are PSA cases UV protected? If so, that would be moot since I only want it for PSA cases.

Dpeck, do the cards lean forward in their slots or backward? Also, do the bottom of the card cases fit into a groove or is just a flat "ledge" for the cards to sit against?

Yes, I'm aware that that question might be unclear image

The lean forward and touch the glass.

There are no grooves just a straight flat edge. When I mount them on the wall I lay it flat and get the cards centered in the case and then I pick it up and flip it forward so they lean forward.

FYI - PSA cases are not UV protected. Neither are Beckett nor SGC cases. I have a UV meter in our lab for testing. All 3 failed on UV protection when I checked empty slabs last year.

I have several Pennzoni cases and love them -- I actually squeeze 55 cards into the 50 card display.

I use a small amount of reusable adhesive putty behind the flip to hold the slab into place -- it works great and does not mark the slab.

I use what Dpeck, I actually lean my cards back in the case. I am really pleased with this case.

That's actually the reason I decided against that one. No grooves, no dice.

Who knows if they are being honest, but I messaged the seller and they said they are UV protected.

I guess you could ask him nicely if he would add that in his description. This way you would be protected, no?

I love the Pennzoni displays. The large one is their 50 card case that actually hold 55 cards. The horizontal case is was a show table case that I converted and pulled the bottom row out for oversized slabs. The small case is not from them but a cheaper shadow box from Hobby Lobby that I use for my small non-sport collection. I am going to take them to a framing store in my local mall for UV glass to be added.

Here is one I built from scratch. It has a 1/4 inch plexy glass for the front. Took me about 2 weeks to make.

    Hookem,

Very nice collection you have. Great range of sports and age to your cards.
