    Just as a suggestion, I wouldn't use the word "tribute" in your title, simply because it immediately brought to mind the gold plated "tribute" crap sold by the National Collectors Mint and others of that ilk on TV. Even if that's the word used to originally market these, and even if these were produced by a private mint like that, at least they've got (Liberian) legal tender status as NCLT, and if this one is in PCGS plastic, so much the better. It is obviously not in the same sphere as the made-for-TV plated "tribute" junk. You wouldn't want guilt by association, is all I'm sayin'.

    Not sure what status the word "pattern" has in this context? Are these actually considered patterns, or is that another marketing buzzword?

    Regardless, that's a pretty hunk o' modern gold, fer sure.
