Has anyone tried the 1952 topps mantle chase box? Just curious what your luck was? As I have said I am just now getting back into the hobby and this has kind of intrigued me and have thought of trying a box.

    They are good buys at walmart that fetch double retail on ebay...

    They are bad opens.

    Even if you do get a throwback it is a resealed pack of crap from the year.

    Other than that expect late 80's and early 90's junk.

    I haven't bought one and I don't think I will. Seems like a money maker only for the producer of the scam, I mean product.

    They still consistently sell for $40-$60 on ebay.

    EVERY TIME I see them at walmart I buy them and just double my money on the bay.
