Porter cam up with the Brewers and was there for a few years prior to moving on to KC IMF P.S. good trivia question! >>
Yes, I know that ... but re-read the original question ... it just says OF ALL THE PLAYERS IN KCR HISTORY ... who debuted in the MAJOR LEAGUES at the youngest age.
Does not read "who made their debut WITH the KCR" at the youngest age. Just what former KCR player made his ML debut at the youngest age!!!!

Turns out Mike McCormick was alive for five leap years (40,44,48,52,56) and Ed Kirkpatrick was alive for four leap years (48, 52,56, 60) before their debuts.
They were BOTH 6,549 days old when they made their debut.

Ed was 25 days short of his 18th birthday and McCormick was 26 days shy of his 18th birthday.
I thought the answer was Mike McCormick, but turns out 1956 (McCormick's debut year) was a leap year - so maybe they were the same age?
I could use some help here - who was the youngest in days?
