Waiting on poppage from Dec 2nd.....Day 45 and we have some poppage!

I am 42 business days down. Hopefully just a max of 3 more to go. Looking forward to opening the box when it arrives as I won't check the grades until I have the cards in hand making it more painful to wait this long.

    My 6 card freebies just got logged last week as well as my 602 card order and i'm still checking to see if they popped on Sunday !! lol

    I have a 12/2 loggage waiting to pop as well. I emailed back-and-forth with CS last Wednesday... was told to expect poppage mid-to-late this coming week. Basically, they're still backlogged but working to get subs out right around the 45 day mark or just a couple dates late. Still hasn't stopped me from checking, with great frequency, every day since!

    I had a two month and twelve day wait and sent in another sub just this week. I hope the poppage time is much quicker this go around. Good luck, and I hope the wait is worth it with nice grades.

    Sounds about right. I would really like to have the cards back in my hands on Saturday.

    If you don't want to know the grades you can still check online to see if its shipped without clicking the submission number. That's what I'm going to do with my current sub. At least I'll know when to expect the package to arrive.

    Right. I do use the del conf number and then continually refresh that screen over and over until the package arrives.image

    Happy Richard Petty Day tyweb1! I've probably check at least 2 Petty times today already... nothing yet!

    In killing time though... and since I'm on the order page, had to look back at the post-national/holiday-season backlog effects since I became a member in 2009. Basically, just looking at my submissions made in November & December...

    2009 - 2 subs, both at ~45 day service levels... popped/shipped on business days 13 & 12
    2010 - 2 subs, one at ~45 day service level that popped/shipped on business day #13, and a ~10 day service level that popped/shipped on business day #5
    2011 - 2 subs, one at ~20 day service level that popped/shipped on business day #29, and a ~45 day service level still awaiting poppage as of today (business day #43)

    Anybody have a time machine???

    On 12/7 I had sent in cards AND packs in the same package, and the cards have already popped back in December (12/14). The bad part is, I want to sell the cards and the one pack all at the same time since they're from the same set (1978 OPC). I figured it would be nice cross-advertising. I have about $300 worth of cards just sitting here burning a hole in my pocket while I stare at this order status screen! Meanwhile my low-pop cards are probably getting more populated. Sad Panda...

    If your sub logged in on 12/7, I think that means you're on business day 40. PSA had a couple extra days off around the holidays if I recall correctly.

    Of course, I hope you're right since the little group sub I have there was logged in on the 7th as well.

    I have 188 card sub logged on 1/24 and I can't believe I don't have poppage yet. I've had a ton of 100+ subs pop within a week and the longest I've ever waited was 3 weeks.

    Hell yeah baby... no poppage... PSA and me are breaking records!!! Today is a great day! A day to be thankful! A day to be proud!

    My previous longest wait was a July 2011 special that popped on business day #44. Never had anything go longer than 16 business days in my previous 2 years as a CC Club member... and haven't had anything pop remotely close to "early" since!

    Today I feel lucky and blessed to be a PSA member. I can't think of another place where they require a paid membership to utilize their services, and in return honor you so generously with such lavishly diminished expectations and consecutively degraded levels of service. I'm lucky to be experiencing this, it's more than I could have ever dreamed and I'm humbled beyond words to know I'm part of the club!

    Of course, I jest... but seriously, I'd love to know what has happened at PSA in the past 6 months to make service suffer so badly?

    I don't know why people complain about the 45 day subs. I mean PSA tells you that it would take around 45 business days. If it were around 60 business days, I could see a legitimate reason to complain, but for most of us, it's not even at 45 days yet. I had 2 subs that had loggage on 12/6 for 45 day subs (regular sized and postcard sized). The regular sized sub popped a couple weeks ago (1/25). I'm still waiting on the oversized sub. I think PSA should concentrate more on getting the quicker subs (e.g., 5-10 business day subs) done on time earlier. This could well be verifying that cards purchased from ebay were authentic, and to be able to open a case on ebay, you need to do it within 45 days from purchase (and regular days too, not business days).

    I knew the day would eventually come when I'd hit 100%... but I hardly imagined doing so with a PSA 10 on that card. The 2 I sent in... one was a BGS 9 crackout, and the other was a raw card I bought on eBay on the gamble that the photo in the auction looked like it might be nicer than the BGS 9... and I was right!

    That card alone probably made it the best sub I've had since after the 2009 National when a single 1983 Topps wax box from BBCE, which I bought there, yielded PSA 10's of Marcus Allen, Mike Singletary & Walter Payton!
