Yes, a good reference. Most of the books in the COAC series have interesting contributions.

The out-of-print books in this series can be obtained from numismatic book dealers (Orville Grady, Kolbe & Fanning, Charles Davis, sometimes Karl Moulton). "America's Large Cent," edited by John Kleeberg, is probably the scarcest of these volumes.
