Cincyredlegs Collection (Scan Heavy)

I thought I would go ahead and jump on the "show your collection" theme. Here are some of my graded cards. Lets start out with some Mantles.

The 58 Mantle is my favorite Mantle card. I need to find one better centered. The older I get, the more nice centering means to me.

Now for some Mays, Aaron and Koufax.

How about some Gibson?

Mark.... Beautiful collection. I especially like the 71 Ryan and your 57 Don Hoak. As you know Hoak was a part of the '60 Pirates

Bobby, it seems like the Reds and Pirates did a few trades during the 50's and 60's. We also got Jerry Lynch from the Pirates as well.

Nice cards Mark. Nice to see that a Reds fan also appreciates THE MICK!
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Doug, for some reason I have always been a Mick fan even though I never saw him play (born in 1971). There is just something about him and his cards that have drawn me to him since I was a kid.

Great reds stuff and others you have. I was a huge reds fan from the 70s and if I can figure out how to post scans I'll share a few of my favorites. Scott

awesome stuff Mark! I love viewing others collections. What are you actively looking to add?
  • cincyredlegscincyredlegs Posts: 2,032 ✭✭✭
    Matt,

I am always looking for graded Reds cards pre 1970 for my Reds collection. The last several months I have been focusing on my unopened pack collection. Besides that, it is whatever hits me at that time. I am an equal opportunity buyer when it comes to vintage baseball cards image

<< <i>The 58 Mantle is my favorite Mantle card >>

    Hi Mark

For me too! I don't have the card - but it's my favorite - even like it better than his 52T and 53B!

BTW - I sat in awe at the big red machine of the 70s - especially the WS teams of '75 and '76! I'm sure you feel the same way.

Thanx for sharing and taking the time to post those great cards. A pleasure to view.

Stone, the 58 Mantle was the first one (not the one pictured) I bought when I was 11.

This year should be a good year for the Reds. No Pujols in St. Louis, no Prince or Braun for 50 games in Milwaukee. Not worried about the Cubs, Pirates or Astros. Along with the moves we made in the offseason, we SHOULD win the division.
